Wayne J. Costley, Jr.
Managing Partner

Jay Costley conducts executive and senior management assignments for private and public real estate companies in the U.S. with an emphasis on private equity, investment management, mortgage finance, and the office, multifamily, retail and industrial sectors. He has also executed numerous functional searches (e.g., CFO, CAO) in other sectors. Prior to co-founding Allium Partners, Mr. Costley was Chief Operating Officer for Ferguson Partners, a boutique executive recruiting firm serving the real estate industry. Previously, he worked in development with a well-respected commercial development firm and for Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. after beginning his career in real estate at the First National Bank of Chicago. Mr. Costley graduated from Duke University with a BA in Economics and holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Richard J. Lovett
Managing Partner

Rick Lovett conducts executive and senior management assignments across all mortgage finance and real estate sectors, with an emphasis on "C" level positions and leadership roles in marketing, capital markets, risk assessment, credit, audit and servicing. Additionally, Mr. Lovett also handles Director/Trustee assignments for Boards. Prior to co-founding Allium Partners, Mr. Lovett spent several years as Managing Director at Ferguson Partners.  Mr. Lovett's previous experience includes a variety of executive positions in the residential finance industry including PNC Mortgage and the residential lending and title subsidiaries of Prudential Life Insurance Company. Mr. Lovett began his career at Norwest Corporation where he directed the federal legislative effort for its banks. He received a BA degree from St. Johns University, a JD from William Mitchell College of Law and completed the Executive Program at Cornell University as a Bush Fellow.
